Natural paradises at your fingertips

The coasts of Oaxaca hide some of the most beautiful and authentic beaches in Mexico. From calm bays ideal for swimming to golden sands with waves perfect for surfing, each beach has its own charm. We invite you to explore these nearby paradises, where nature, sea and tranquility combine to give you unforgettable moments.

Huatulco is one of Mexico's most beloved destinations on the Pacific coast. However, for those in the know, it remains somewhat mysterious. The destination is much more than just one place, compared to other beach hot spots like Puerto Vallarta or Cancun, which are all in one central location. But no: Huatulco is made up of nine distinct bays, home to more than 30 spectacular beaches. In fact, when it comes to the best beaches in Huatulco, you may have a hard time knowing where to start.

Puerto Angel main beach

The main beach of Puerto Angel is the soul of the town, where fishing life and local charm merge with a relaxed and cozy atmosphere. It is only an 8 minute walk from the house down the stairs into town.

Panteon Beach

Playa Panteon is one of the most accessible and quiet beaches in Puerto Angel, ideal for swimming and relaxing in one of its restaurants, especially "Amigos del Mar". Perfect to enjoy with the family, snorkel or just float in the sea. It has very calm waters.

La Boquilla Beach

La Boquilla is a beach that only a few people know about and that you cannot miss. Its waters are calm. It is our favorite beach especially during the week. The restaurant "Bahía de la Luna" offers delicious local dishes.

Estachauite Beach

Playa Estacahuite is a hidden gem on the coast of Oaxaca, known for its crystal clear waters and impressive marine life.

Cometa Beach

Playa Cometa is a little known paradisiacal corner, ideal for those seeking a quiet escape in contact with nature. Less crowded than Punta Cometa, it also offers splendid sunsets.

La Mina Beach

Playa La Mina is a hidden treasure on the coast of Puerto Angel, ideal for those seeking a natural and secluded environment. Access is through the subdivision "La Mina", ask at the entrance how to get there.

San Agustin de las Flores Beach

Playa San Agustin de las Flores is located near the Huatulco Airport.

Bajos de Coyula Beach

Playa Boca Vieja in Bajos de Coyula has the particularity of having a river that flows into the end of the main beach. During the dry season, there are restaurants that serve ceviche, freshly caught fish, and other fresh fish. After a dip in the sea you can bathe and rinse in the river water. Another piece of pristine paradise.

Riscalillo Beach

Playa Riscalillo is located near the Huatculo airport, 15 minutes ahead of San Agustín de las Flores. It has the particularity of having a coral reef that surfaces daily at low tide.

La Entrega Beach

Playa La Entrega in Huatulco Bays is probably one of the favorite beaches for its beauty and easy access. As it is very crowded, it is best to arrive early on weekends or go during the week if possible.

El Maguey Beach

Playa El Maguey is also easily accessible from Huatulco because it is on the edge of town. It has many regional restaurants.

Chachacual & La India Beaches

Playa Chachacual and Playua La India are definitely our favorites. The best way to visit these hidden jewels of the Oaxacan coast is to take a tour of the Huatulco Bays that includes these 2 beaches

Chacahua Lagoons

The Chacahua Lagoons are 2 hours from the house, passing Puerto Escondido.

Magic Waterfalls

The Magic Waterfalls are near Huatuloc. The entrance is only 5 minutes from the airport in Hutulco and takes you in 40 minutes up the mountain to some wonderful waterfalls of fresh and crystalline waters

Rio Quien Sabe qué

The river who knows what it is called is located who knows where near San Pedro Pochutla. But we will investigate it soon!
